Sometimes I just watch Lila nap in her crib. And try to soak in her baby sweetness.
I look at those chubby little thighs and tiny feet and know that one day soon
they will be strong legs that can stand on their own.
That her little head full of soft peach fuzz will hold bouncing curls
that wave in the breeze as she giggles.
That her hands will reach out to hold mine while she is skipping up the street
to play with her friends.
