Lila Addison was born March 10, 2010
Lila had a very difficult pregnancy. She was originally a twin pregnancy, which we lost at 9 weeks and 2 days. We named that baby Wrigley and we know he is up in heaven for us to meet one day. Wrigley passed away from a subchorionic bleed on his placenta, which continued to hemorrhage until week 17 of my pregnancy. We found out Lila was a girl on October 7 and have been decorating her in pink ever since. At 24 weeks, we went into preterm labor and I was on bedrest for the rest of my pregnancy. After weeks and weeks of prayers and lots of scary trips to the hospital. Lila stayed in safe and sound until I was induced on March 9 at 40 weeks and 2 days. She was born at 12:38am on March 10 and was 7lbs. 11 oz. and 20 inches.
This blog was started as a journal about our adventures to get pregnant (basically it was a long, not fun, annoying adventure), our pregnancy (not super fun, but worth the drama), and our little girl. I hope she can look back on this blog one day and smile, even though I now fill it with all my nonsense mommy thoughts. And now for the good stuff...
