Happy first Father's Day to the most amazing husband and father I could have ever hoped and prayed for. I have lots of surprises planned for Brian today but I don't want to spoil them so I will do another blog post later this week. But for today, here are all the ways I love how Brian fathers:

I love how Brian stops when he is holding Lila, looks down at her, and kisses her head.

I love how he blows raspberries on Lila's tummy and makes her squeal with excitement.

I love how Brian always sings Lila's name out when he walks through the door after work.

I love how he used to kiss my tummy every morning when I was pregnant before he left for work.

I love how Brian brags to his friends and family about all of Lila's new developments.

I love how he likes to hold her during worship at church because he loves singing with his baby girl in his arms.

I love how he prays with her about the amazing life God has ahead for her and our family.

Any man can be a Father,

but it takes someone special to be a dad.
