green with envy

I try to be green. I know that I use disposable diapers (FAIL) and sometimes when I am out in public and there is no recycling bin, I throw a plastic bottle in the trash can (double fail). But carrying reusable grocery bags is something I can do. So easy! And they make super cute ones! I try to keep my grocery bags in my car, so all I have to do is grab them on the way into the store. And it is always nice when stores remind me if I am distracted in the parking lot by moms on their cell phones trying to win extra points by running me over with their minivans.

The one thing I do hate is dealing with produce. I am a little OCD. Okay, a lot. And I hate putting produce in my cart to roll around all over the dirty plastic. And then putting them on the nasty never cleaned moving counter at the checkout. So as much as I hate wasting the plastic produce bags, it was that or germ overload. Or so I thought...

Enter Oh, Little Rabbit Etsy shop with their Block Printed Organic Cotton Reusable Produce Bags. What an amazing idea! Why didn't I think of that? You can load your produce up in these babies at the store, bring them home and put them in the fridge, and wash them when the thought of all the germs overwhelms you.
Oh, Little Rabbit has offered to give away a set of these beautiful handmade bags to one of my readers! Here is what you have to do to win your very own set of produce bags:

-Be a follower of my blog by clicking on the "Follow" button on the right hand side of the blog and then leave a comment on this post with your email address (required to enter)
-Head over to Oh, Little Rabbit's Etsy shop and "Add seller to Favorites" then come back here and leave another comment telling me you did (+1 extra entry)
-Follow me on Twitter and then come back here and leave another comment telling me you did (+1 extra entry)

The giveaway will be open until Wednesday (June 23) at midnight. I will pick the winner using Random.com and announce it on Thursday! Good luck and who knew being green could be so cute?

Don't blow it - good planets are hard to find.
