Taking Lila to the pumpkin patch before Halloween was one of my favorite Lila moments this past year. Maybe it was the way the pictures turned out so amazing. Maybe it was the way she kept running her hands over the ridges on the rows of pumpkins. Maybe it was making a memory as a family, just like all the families I stared at in envy in years past.
Either way, I will never forget that day and her face when she tried to lick the pumpkin.
Sorry sweetie, dirt is not so yummy.
Vegetables are a must on a diet.
I suggest carrot cake, zucchini bread, and pumpkin pie.
